The wait is over! Today, Bay Area thrash metal
pioneers EXODUS have unleashed their
blistering new track ‘Salt The Wound’. Giving fans a first taste of their new
album, Blood In Blood Out. The track features an intense guitar solo from none
other than former Exodus guitarist and
legendary Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett (you've heard of him, right?).
Returning vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza
does not miss a beat and this sounds like some old-school Exodus awesomeness.
And, there is no doubt as to where the Hammett solo comes in, as even a deaf
man can recognize those wah-wahs.
“It felt really casual, really cool – just like it
did back in 1980 when we were all just hanging out back in the day,” Kirk
Hammett stated to RollingStone.com in July.
Blood In Blood Out comes out October 14th on Nuclear
Blast.
